Middle/Senior PHP developer

The role is split into 3 main pillars:

Architecture and Specifications

- Master the technical environment and become the main technical support for the IT Architect
- Collaborate on the review of functional specifications, providing peer review and technical specifications
- Bring expertise and secondary opinion to strengthen SDLC practices, and challenge the status quo by providing suggestions and ideas for improvement

Development

- Implement changes and new functionalities according to the design and specifications
- Ensure best practices and security requirements are always followed

Quality Insurance & Code review

- Be your own quality manager
- Peer-review other developments, and ensure deployments are timely and qualitative

Relationships

Work side by side with all members of the Digital Team (one IT Architect, one Digital Associate and the Head of Digital + development contractors)
Maintain ongoing and frequent communication with all above stakeholder

Requirements
- 5+ years working experience in PHP and at least 3 years using the Symfony framework and Twig
- Knowledge on basic security rules
- Mastery of the base of HTML, CSS, JS
- Great command of both spoken and written English
- Experience on complex project with high traffic and cache is a plus
- Experience on unit test is a plus
- Experience in the healthcare is a plus
