Tech Lead .Net Engineer (offline)

SimpliGov, a Silicon Valley company, is looking to build out its lead development team in Ireland and is looking for a Senior .Net Engineer to join our tight-knit team. As an engineer, you will develop, create, and maintain existing and new features within the SimpliGov business automation platform and assist with scaling and performance initiatives. Your responsibilities include implementing technical business requirements into scalable micro-services to augment existing functionality or provide new functionality, investigating and proposing new technologies etc. Our ideal co-worker is a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Leading a team technically 2-5 team members
-Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured implementation plans
- Estimate product stories etc. as part of sprint planning.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track story, task and bug status in our product development tool (Jira)
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. Developers, Product managers, DevOPS) to ensure development meets business requirements
- Stay up to date with new development tools, cloud technologies etc.
- Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining performance, daily.
- Participate and communicate within Project team and QA management or key partner groups.

Qualifications:
- Proven work experience in software development and building scalable, extensible systems.
- Experience with SaaS development and testing is preferred
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, Software Development Lifecycle,tools, and processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working with JIRA in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering etc.
