Cloud Administration Lead (GCP) (offline)

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a Cloud Administration Lead to take the helm of our cloud infrastructure. Cloud Administration Lead will manage the system operations team, oversee infrastructure planning and management, ensure stability and security of our production and development environment, and assure compliance with SOCII requirements.

Qualifications:
— 6-8+ years in system administration/operations in a Cloud-based environment, Google Cloud preferred
— 3+ years as System Administrator/Operations/DevOps in a SaaS environment
— Good understanding of cloud infrastructure management and automation, with regards to stability, scalability, performance, and security
— Proficiency in Linux environments
— Strong knowledge of networking, communication protocols, and networking tools
— Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and DevOps activities
— Great team player, ability to guide and mentor members of the team

Nice to have:
— Understanding of SOCII and/or ISO27001 frameworks, past audit experience a plus
— Security/pen testing expertise

Responsibilities:
— Manage small team of Cloud Administrators
— Develop, establish, and implement long-range and short term strategies and operation policies to achieve goals and objectives
— Ensure the smooth day to day operation of our platform
— Build tools to ease infrastructure provisioning and scaling
— Provision and automate infrastructure components to support growth
— Optimize price/performance ratio of our cloud compute footprint
— Establish process and controls to assure smooth and traceable operations in the production environment
— Develop and enhance monitoring and alerting to assure continuous operation of our core systems
— Continuously review and harden our infrastructure security posture and processes
— Work with Google-side service provider on critical escalations and leveraging Google Cloud expertise.
