Senior Data Engineer (offline)

Our customer is a start-up founded in 2020 with ambitions to innovate for the next big AI disruption in the digitalization of corporates. This company is on a mission to re-think the “way of working” and drive business performance. Their vision is to develop beautiful digital AI products that are easy to integrate. We are looking for a talented, qualified, and highly professional senior database developer to become part of the awesome SQUAD group for product development.

Responsibilities:
Support databases (PostgreSQL and Redshift) with existing and new functionality: data models, stored procedures, and functions
Review and support team members with SQL related tasks
Supervise data-driven strategy for the project
Profile, refactor and tune “weak places”
Be a communicator between different teams and stakeholders as a part of a key data team.

Mandatory Requirements:
Strong experience with RDBMS: database design and modeling
Strong experience in PostgreSQL or Oracle or SQL Server, creating storage logic
Experience with database profiling, optimization, and performance tuning
Fluent/Advanced in English
Good communication skills
Problem-solving skills
Experience with AWS S3 and AWS Redshift (nice to have)
Experience with Python or .NET (nice to have)
