Senior UI/UX designer

We are looking for a dynamic UI/UX designer who will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design for our projects. You will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improvement.

Requirements:

3+ years of UX design, visual design, interaction design, and product thinking experience

Proven experience in designing products and websites with great visual aesthetics, interaction design patterns, and strategic product thinking

A deep understanding of key UI/UX principles, processes, and methodologies (deep understanding that extends beyond “how it looks”.)

A passion for analyzing and understanding complex quantitative data and qualitative insights to inform design decisions

An experience in building and supporting design systems for group products and services

Proficient with modern design toolset (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Figma, etc.)



Responsibilities:

Define visual strategy and make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core and new Hacken’s products and services, including landing pages, corporate & product websites

Define and execute Design System patterns (typography, color, grid systems, iconography, and motion) to deliver consistent interfaces

Understand our customers, product, and business strategy to deliver cultural-, product-, and customer-specific work results

Articulate, negotiate and refine design requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers to arrive at the best design solutions


Perform all functions of the product design lifecycle, including sketches, wireframes, concept designs, end-to-end user flows, interaction design, prototyping, pixel-perfect UI, documentation, accessibility checks, and testing/design QA

Incorporate customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience

Identify any areas of improvement in your work as well as others on the project and assess ways to strive for holistic product consistency

Advocate for and improve design culture and best practices in the organization
