Regular Java developer (offline)

Project Description

Client: American luxury department store chain.
One of the largest retail worldwide company that located in USA needs a professional, effective and result-oriented team to design, develop and support complex enterprise solutions:
FP Console — a modern web application for managing the supply chain network for fulfillment planning, allows tweaking supply chain "network" configurations and influence desired business outcomes dynamically.
SCN —a data-driven decision-making system to hold a cost-saving paradigm and transform it into the usage of a cost-based optimization model which starts from the collection of data from different sources.
You will have a great chance to work on these projects from the very beginning.
The work on these projects brings knowledge and experience that widens the range of opportunities within the whole company & business domain.

Responsibilities

- Implement new features
- Bugfix existing features
- Refactor existing code
- Improve test coverage
- Build and ship product artifacts to dev/prod cluster
- Devops responsibilities

Skills
Must have

MUST:
- Java SE 8 / 11
- Spring Boot
- PostgreSQL or any other SQL-like DB
- Docker
- Junit, Mockito
- Level of mastering English language: upper-intermediate or above (both spoken and written)

WILL BE A PLUS:
- Gradle
- Logging & Monitoring: NewRelic, Splunk
- Kafka & Kafka Streams
- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- PostgreSQL or any other SQL-like DB
- Experience with AWS (at least essential services like IAM, S3)
- GoF Patterns
- GitLab CI/CD

Mandatory Skills - Soft Skills
- Team player with good interpersonal/communication capabilities;
- Quick learner, ability to get fast into foreign code and architecture, reverse engineering experience;
