We’re looking for Software Architects for an international company – a pioneer in container shipping. Unique strategy as a digital-oriented, asset-light, global niche carrier offers distinctive advantages, allowing the company to provide innovative and premium customer-centric services while maximizing profitability. Requirements
-5+ years of industry experience in building distributed, microservices oriented, scalable, enterprise level products or components.
-BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Experience building microservices-based architecture.
-Hands-On experience the following subjects: Kubernetes, Java, Spring, Kotlin, React, Kafka, DevOps tools.
-Experience in designing and deploying cloud/hybrid-based solutions (Preferably Azure).
-Experience with Big Data AI/ML development – an advantage.
-Ability to analyze business requirements and design scalable, high performing, testable solutions.
-Experience with formulating and working in Agile methodologies.
-Experience with Automated test development on all levels, including TDD.
-Strong knowledge of design patterns, clean code, and different software architecture patterns.

-Experience in formulating best practices, development methodologies, and development lifecycles.
-Excellent presentation, interaction, and communication skills along with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional organizations.
-Self-starter with the ability to appropriately prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

-Lead implementations of POCs for innovative technologies/solutions
-Guide developers in designing, specifying, and selecting technology solutions and tools, considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure quality, and performance.
-Work with XP (eXtreme Programming) teams in promoting their development, while serving as guidance for architecture, design patterns and coding best practices.
-Own and support the developers in the architecture design.
-Assessing the current state of the software systems, to identify areas in need of improvement
-Continually research current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.
-Promote DevOps initiatives to facilitate fast development and enable full CI/CD.
