BI Analyst / Developer

Type of employment: full-time, remote
Schedule:‌‌ 8 hours/day from 04:00 pm to 01:00 am, CET (UTC+01:00)

We are looking for a passionate, results-driven BI Analyst, who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and an efficient multitasker with a get-it-done, figure-it-out attitude.

Team: Chief Analytics Officer, BI Analyst, Marketing Analyst

Our ideal candidate has the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience as a BI Developer or Data Analyst of over 2 years
- Deep knowledge of PowerBI
- Deep understanding of databases, data analysis procedures, and data visualization
- Deep knowledge of SQL
- Proficiency in extracting and manipulating data sets
- Excellent analytical thinking with the ability to look at data and detect trends and patterns
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Written and spoken English skills: Upper-intermediate

Will be a plus:
Bachelor’s or Master's in a quantitative field (such as Engineering, Statistics, Math, Economics, or Computer Science with Modeling/Data Science)
Familiarity with Python and R is preferred

Job to be done:
- Design, develop and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards using Microsoft PowerBI
- Create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems and build data infrastructure
- Check data for inaccuracies and inconsistencies
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets and transform the data into insightful information
- Conduct complex data analysis and report on business performance
- Assist with decision-making by creating detailed reports
- Implement new data analysis methodologies
- Train end-users on new reports and dashboards
