Experienced Business Analyst (offline)

DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Business Analyst who will interact with customers, stakeholders, development, and quality assurance teams to elicit requirements, analyze them, document, and create functional specifications. The candidate will contribute to every stage of the product life cycle from research and discovery to iterative development and roll-out. The Business Analyst will be actively engaged in AMC Bridge Discovery projects to define new solutions within the company engineering domain.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of proven work experience in business analysis or a related field
EDUCATION: BS/MS in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering

REQUIREMENTS:
• Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Proven experience in requirements elicitation and successful completion of analytical assignments
• Ability define business requirements. run gap analysis. Ability to translate business needs into software and operational requirements.
• Ability to work independently and determine what BA activities should be applied to successfully complete any project (based on phase, request type and any specific project context).
• Ability to quickly grasp the project specifics and define risks for the project.
• Skills of simultaneous work on multiple projects (up to 2 projects)
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Skills of creation BPMN and UML (workflow, data flow, state transition) artifacts for complex business processes. UI wireframes creation skill is a plus.
• Upper-intermediate and up English, including technical writing skills
• Experience with creating detailed reports and giving presentations

DUTIES:
• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, develop and implement solutions
• Gather critical information from meetings with stakeholders
• Define, translate, simplify, and prioritize requirements
• Create business cases and user stories
• Create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups
• Prepare user requirements for the project and review design deliverables
• Ensure that solutions meet business needs and requirements
• Prepare user documentation and runs end-user trainings
• Investigates how a solution is used after release, collects metrics, analyze trends, identify issues and recommend improvements
• Perform acceptance testing
• Create detailed reports and give presentations
