What is Q?
Q is a blockchain development company that builds integrations between decentralized finance platforms. Backed by blockchain veterans, Q aims to create intuitive, dynamic interfaces for users to easily access multiple DeFi protocols & track their positions.

Core Requirements
1. AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, DocumentDB, Data Lakes, IAM, VPC, ControlTower, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CloudFront, Route53, ECR, Lambda)
2. Kubernetes, Kustomize, Helm
3. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
4. Docker/ContainerD (building and debugging containers, deploying to k8s)
5. Git+GitHub (CLI, GitHub Actions, repository and code change management, merging strategies, branching and rebasing, CI/CD best practices, GitOps)
6. Linux (CLI, bash/zsh)
7. TCP/IP networking
8. Professional-level english, written and spoken
9. Ability to work with the architect and CTO to implement complex systems, set requirements and expectations, and communicate issues and blockers
10. Ability to learn new languages and API’s quickly

Nice to Have
1. Fundamental understanding of Web3, Ethereum, EVM, and blockchain
2. Familiarity NodeJS, React, web3-react, web3.js, NestJS, Solidity, HardHat, Truffle
3. GoLang
4. Solid understanding of cybersecurity principals
5. FluxCD or other k8s CI/CD pipeline
6. Database experience (SQL, NoSQL, integrating front-end and back-end)
7. AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc)
8. PenTesting, vulnerability assessments and remediations
9. Scripting Languages (Python, Ruby, Perl, etc)
10. Agile development methodology and toolsets (Jira, Shortcut, GitHub Issues, etc)

Educational Requirements
Four or Five year degree in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering from a recognized university. Preferred: Master’s Degree in the same. 10+ years of direct experience in the industry as a software engineer with well-recognized employers may be considered in lieu of a degree

Experience Requirements
Five plus years of direct experience as a software or devops engineer or architect with an established company
