Project Manager (Software)

The Software Project Manager will be responsible for collaborating with analysts, developers, and management, to complete projects within budget and within scope and on time. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize the progress of projects.

The successful candidate will work directly with management to ensure deliverables fall within the
applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with the team to ensure all aspects of each
project are compatible and will recommend hiring new talent as needed to fulfill needs.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, detail-oriented, a critical thinker and resourceful with a
high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.
Responsibilities
 Develop a detailed project plan and schedule with a clear set of tasks to monitor and track
progress
 Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient
manner
 Prepare & maintain budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
 Coordinate internal resources the flawless execution of projects
 Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
 Track project costs to meet budget
 Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy,
adjustments, and progress
 Skillfully gatekeep project scope specifications, and navigate project delays/overages
 Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including meeting minutes, action
items, issues lists, and risk management plans.
 Promotes change, process, and best practices to both the business and technical team
members, providing training for the project management discipline.

 Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
 Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
 Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
 4+ years of related software project management experience
 Proven ability to solve problems creatively
 Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
 Understanding/Experience in MS Power Platform
 Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)
 Project Management Tools (Jira / Atlassian, Trello)
 Waterfall and Agile Methodology
 Understanding how APIs work
 Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
 Excellent analytical skills
 Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
 Communicative and well-organized
 Flexible, proactive, and collaborative team player
 Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
 Flexible, proactive, and collaborative team player
Preferred:
 Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
