Senior Vue.js Developer (offline)

Opinov8 is looking for a Senior Vue.js Developer to join a project aimed at building a software and hardware solution that designs, sequences and controls the most spectacular visual effects across film and TV, broadcast, live and corporate events.

BEING PART OF THE TEAM
• Build a web application that can be hosted on a web server that we run locally that meets the specifications outlined in the design document of the assigned project;
• Coordinate with C++ developers to design and use the new APIs to query data covered in the assigned project;
• Testing & mock rigs of the APIs produced in the assigned project;
• Development of general system API definition, testing and mock interfaces for future Designer and cloud use;
• Design & Development of web-accessible API counterparts, and associated documentation and testing rigs;
• Make sure our spec and approach make sense and are achievable in a reasonable timeframe. Tell us if there’s a better solution;
• Conduct demos or peer reviews for deliverables to demonstrate work progress when a development milestone has been reached;
• Clearly document and communicate the workings of the system to the rest of the dev team so we can share knowledge about its workings.

POWER YOU BRING
• Experience working in a dev team to create code, review code and fix bugs;
• Experience contributing to a web software product in a commercial environment;
• Experience in real-time systems

• Ability to work autonomously;
• Clear & concise communications skills;
• Methodical work ethic, with strong attention to detail;
• Experience estimating and breaking down problems into smaller work packages;
• Experience integrating with a new software development team;
• A strong understanding of Web API schemas, formats, and systems;
• A deep understanding of the nuance of scalable and flexible API design;
• Experience with VueJS;
• Speak English fluently with no communication issues.

Desirable skills we are looking for:
At least one commercially released software product or equivalent;
Experience & Skills with design and TailwindCss;
Exposure to NodeJS, Laravel, associated backend tech stacks
Exposure to AWS, Heroku, etc.. workings.
