QA Engineer (GameDev) (offline)

Pingle Studio is looking for a Game QA Engineer with experience in gamedev to create awesome games with us. (Dnipro)

Required:
— Passion for video games;
— Clear, effective communication across teams;
— 1.5 + years of experience in the game industry working in a QA or related role;
— Good understanding of QA methodologies and tools, video game testing standards, and the video game development cycle;
— Experience with the test cycle of a commercial game project;
— Experience with games on PC, Consoles, iOS, Android;
— Experience with test and issue management tools, preferably Jira;
— Strong analytical and problem-detection skills, with an ability to work with independently;
— Experience with at least one console SDK (XDK/GDK/GDK-UWP/PS4 SDK/PS5 SDK);
— English Level: Intermediate.

Will be a plus:
— Familiar with TRC checks for Xbox, PS or Switch.

Responsibilities:
— Functional testing;
— Compliance testing (TRC Xbox, TRC Playstation);
— Pre-release build checks;
— Smoke and sanity build testing;
— Creation of reporting documentation on the status of the project;
— Creation and development of the internal QA test documentation for the project;
— Working with target managers Xbox/PlayStation/Nintendo Switch;
— Working with debug functionality of the consoles Xbox/PlayStation/Nintendo Switch;
— Working with profiling tools PIX, RAZOR;
— Testing according to checklists and test cases;
— Creating and rechecking bug reports in JIRA/Redmine/Trello;
— Participation in play tests of multiplayer projects.
