Senior Automation Engineer (Core team)

Esurance is a Swiss fintech company with headquarters located in Zurich and IT development office in Kyiv. They’re looking for a Senior Automation Engineer for a stable long-term engagement.

Our Client’s main product is an insurance digitalisation platform that connects small businesses, insurance companies and business application providers. They create one digital entry point to the insurance market completely removing the need to work with paper documents (client-banking solution for insurance). They are backed by major players on insurance market in Switzerland.

Our Client uses:
◽ C# 9.0, .net core 5, Entity Framework Core
◽ Multi-layer architecture, DDD, microservices, multi-tenancy
◽ Postgres, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ
◽ BPM workflows (zeebe), Keycloak
◽ Gitlab CI/CD, test automation
◽ K8s, Helm, Rancher

Requirements:
✔️ 3+ years of automation testing for API projects
✔️ Strong knowledge of QA processes and methods, and understanding of the test design approaches
✔️ Good knowledge of JS, experience, and understanding of TS will be a plus
✔️ Good knowledge of automation approaches and patterns
✔️ Good knowledge of automation frameworks and libraries for JS
✔️ Strong experience in building API test frameworks
✔️ Experience in testing applications with microservice architecture
✔️ Experience with UI test frameworks will be a plus
✔️ Experience in working with Docker, Gitlab, Kubernetes
✔️ Speaking and writing English skills on an intermediate or higher level

Responsibilities:
📍 Participation in setting up a new testing framework for microservices
📍 Enabling of new modules for automation testing framework
📍 Integration with QA tools to assure quality standards
📍 Setting and maintaining CI/CD integration for autotests
📍 Analyzing requirements and domain modeling documentation
📍 Communication with development and product team for required quality level assurance

Would be a big plus:
◾️ Knowledge of OOP and SOLID principles
◾️ Experience with Load and Performance testing
◾️ Experience in setting up an automation project from scratch
