Reputation is everything to hotels and bad reviews can be the difference between success and failure. Ensuring that guests have the best possible experience is critical.

At Yuvoh, we’re developing a suite of tools to enable hotels to take control of their reputation, both in-stay and online to ensure that our customers have the insights they need to excel.

We leverage machine learning and other analytical methods to provide actionable business intelligence for hotels, including comparison to their local competitors. Our in-stay systems capture guest complaints and give hotels the opportunity to rectify any issues before guests depart.

The product has been developed to an MVP stage and we are now looking to scale with additional sales efforts and increased development.

We are looking for a driven and highly proactive individual who likes to find solutions to problems, and deliver top-quality implementation.

You should be comfortable with the following:

⏺ Design and implementation of scalable systems.
⏺ Working with product stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities.
⏺ Agile product development practices and processes.

Key requirements for the role:

⏺ 2-5 years of experience as a full-stack developer.
⏺ REST API development experience, ideally using Express.
⏺ Good knowledge of SQL and schema design.
⏺ Experience working with React, ideally with Next.js
⏺ Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

Desirable to have:

⏺ Experience with any of the following: Kafka & Kafka Streams, Airflow, PySpark, Elasticsearch.
⏺ Experience working with Google Cloud.
⏺ GraphQL API design, ideally with Apollo.
⏺ Project management experience.

Job responsibilities:

⏺ Work with our frontend development team to develop our hotel analytics product.
⏺ Manage databases and create APIs to access them.
⏺ Design and implement new backend systems to support product features.
⏺ Organise releases and orchestrate deployment.
