.Net Engineer (project from scratch)

We are building a quotation management system for the world’s leading marine logistics company. The huge benefit of the project is that you will be developing a totally new solution for a client. You will have creative freedom to change the client's way of doing the work.

The project will be dealing with lots of data that needs to be stored, analyzed and used in complex pricing algorithms that aims to quickly determine a product price based on specific customer characteristics. The project is entering its MVP phase and right now we are gathering a big team of self-organized and like minded people that want to innovate. We are looking for a proactive .Net Engineer to become a core member of our new projects. You will be working together with 3 .Net and 3 Angular developers, Architect, Product managers, QAs, DevOps and a Project Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

- 3+ years of experience with C# and .NET.;
- Hands-on experience with RDBMS and ORM;
- Experience in REST API design principles;
- Solid experience in writing automated tests (unit tests, integration tests);
- Understanding of microservices approaches and practices; and
- Strong spoken and written English.

Nice to have:
- Front-end: Angular;
- Experience with Azure Cloud Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Adapt existing methods and procedures to create alternative solutions to moderately complex problems;
- Lead the development of the new functionality to support web application;
- Participate in the architecture sessions, deciding on solutions together with the client;
- Oversee and lead the adoption of engineering best practices like, code review, unit testing, TDD, etc.;
- Use your own judgment to determine the optimal solution to recommend;
- Performance of primary upward interaction with direct supervisor or team leads. Generally interactions with peers and/or management levels;
- Determination of the methods and procedures on new assignments with minimal guidance.
