What we're looking for

We are looking for talented developers and engineers to work on the further development of our products.As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic, collaborative, supportive team of engineers, and you will be responsible for developing API(s) and services that provide ways of integrating with Centralized exchanges, DeFi in multi-chain blockchain networks, as well as managing users, and assets marketplace.

Responsibilities:

- Develop backend API(s) and the underlying database;
- Lead and make software architecture, system, and technology decisions together with the team;
- Using modern frameworks to develop REST APIs, RPC APIs, or message brokers depending on the system design demands;
- Take ownership of the tasks and write clean, straightforward, testable, maintainable, and scalable code;
- Be proactive in identifying problems and finding the best technical approaches and solutions;
- Write documentation, design flow diagrams, and review PRs;
- Collaborate with the product team to define development sprints.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of relevant experience in backend and API development'
- 5+ years experience as a Python developer (Django);
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field (Helps, but not necessary);
- Good experience in developing highly interactive, performant, well-tested web applications;
- In-depth understanding of API design and implementation;
- Strong MongoDB experience, Amazon DynamoDB Database, and Cloud Databases;
- Experienced with CI/CD pipelines;
- Experienced with Containerization or Kubernetes;
- Experienced with orchestration tools;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in the English language (both written and spoken).

Nice to have:

- Polyglot programmer: Go, TypeScript, Node.js;
- GraphQL experience;
- Web3 development experience;
- Experience working on distributed systems
