We’re Primex Finance - the new prime brokerage liquidity protocol for DEX-agnostic, cross-margin trading with trader scoring mechanisms.

With Primex, lenders provide liquidity to pools where traders then use it for leveraged trading. This gives lenders the opportunity to earn higher yields compared to lending protocols, as the interest is generated from margin fees and profits of successful trades.

The project will be launched on Ethereum, Moonbeam and a few ETH L2s.. Primex.finance is backed by some of the top VCs in the space, including Stratos Technologies, Coinfund, Hypersphere, Wintermute, GSR and others.


We are looking for a Math Researcher to join our team. As our expert, you will be working alongside a highly technical team on DeFi and all the cool things from the blockchain ecosystem.

Currently, our Team is researching cutting-edge solutions with the aim to take blockchain technology to the next level of security, decentralization, and scalability for a wide range of use cases. We are currently in a research phase, working with models and simulations. In the near future, we will start implementing the research.

The basic requirements are:
- PhD degree in Mathematics
- Experience with probability and statistical analysis of complex systems. - Any area including natural sciences could be useful.
- Experience reviewing and writing scientific papers.
- Ability to communicate complex technical material to technical and non-technical team members.
- A self-motivated team member able to drive new projects. Passion for the crypto space
- Be able to prototype protocols/schemes/algorithms in at least one relevant programming language


Additional skills in the following areas are a plus:
- Academic and industry research (publications, conferences)
- Leadership & management background
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required
- Economic background
- Understanding of blockchain technologies



Some of the responsibilities:
- Develop tokenomics model for a DeFi protocol, balance different roles in the system applying game theory
- Identify opportunities to provide mathematical proofs to the protocols developed by the team.
- Analyze mathematically the parameter space of complex algorithms.
- Describe mechanisms to better understand, analyze and prove the correctness of the ideas and designs produced by the team.
- Work on mathematical proofs for the team algorithms and protocol designs.
- Propose improvements to the algorithms and protocols developed by the team.
- Propose new solutions to the problems tackled by the team.
- Write documentation and scientific papers with the highest standards of quality.
- Strive to constantly set the highest scientific standards for the team’s research.
