Junior Project Manager (offline)

The Junior Engineer will serve as a primary point of contact for Catalisto’s stakeholder groups in Ukraine (including commercial partners, government entities, associations and others), becoming a trusted partner for ensuring their queries and challenges are quickly and competently resolved.

YOUR PROJECT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications and plan, scheduling changes and recommending actions

Preparing project status reporting by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends and recommending actions

Working with senior engineers and product specialists, to elicit true activity and solution requirements, despite a range of technical aptitudes of clients and stakeholders

Serve as the first point of contact for all regional stakeholders, working with them to diligently close out open issues in a proactive and collaborative manner

As needed, interpret accurately, quickly and clearly Ukrainian-English discussion in official meetings and other contexts, with a wide range of people with diverse voices, accents, speaking tempos and personalities. Translation environments include messages, live speeches, voice recordings, and meetings. Individual must provide proper context, meaning, tone and technical wording

Translate deliverables from Ukrainian to English, and be able to prepare high quality correspondence in both languages

YOUR TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze existing data to develop metrics and trends

Design, develop and test approved analytics including writing supporting custom queries and code

Advise on systems integrations, and integrations with enterprise systems

Conduct cyber security research

Work with systems engineers and software developers to perform data science activities


YOUR RESEARCH RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist analysts in conducting research, analyzing findings and producing reports and presentations

Conduct interviews with companies, executives and innovators to gain insight into practices and priorities

Participate in vendor and client briefings, client inquiries, webinars and industry events to help the team stay on top of industry trends and best practices

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or similar field or equivalent practical experience

Minimum of 2 years experience in a technical consulting or a systems/ application engineering team with customer-facing responsibilities

Must speak and write Ukrainian and English fluently

Experience in cybersecurity detection, response, mitigation or compliance preferred

Strong understanding of the technology issues facing companies today

Advanced written and verbal communication skills

Must have a proactive communication style ensuring the timely status of projects to engineering team, management and other stakeholders.

Ability to extract hidden or unrealized customer requirements and gain consensus on these requirements with the customer

Ability to develop relationships (including over the phone) and communicate with high-level technical staff

Ability to quickly learn, understand and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cybersecurity technology space

Effective presentation skills, with the ability to produce powerful presentations, deliver technical presentations and create coherent written arguments.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment

A positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges with creativity and collaboration

ROLE TYPE

This position will be a 20-40 hours per week Independent Contractor/ Private Entrepreneur Contract position for an initial period of 6 months, based in Ukraine. Hours of work will be at the Entrepreneur’s discretion (subject to senior stakeholder/ program requirements).

REMOTE WORKING

This position will be remote working position. The Independent Contractor/ Entrepreneur is expected to work at their own location, which may be a home office.
