Senior Game Designer

We are looking for a talented Senior Game Designer who is devoted to creating great gameplay experiences and memorable game worlds and would help us create top-notch open-world game experiences with our partnered AAA titles for PC and Consoles.

Becoming one of the dragons you will:
- Communicate and evaluate projects at the pre-sale stage
- Formulate and present creative solutions to the company’s clients
- Evaluate different stages of the project with the engineering team
- Develop a scope of work for the engineering team and conduct work planning with a focus on estimations for game functions, creating systems, rules, gameplay, and assisting with world-building (story and IP)
- Ad hoc development of custom creative solutions
- Conduct market research and explore solutions in the field of game design

Expectations are clear:
- Proficient English speaker who is comfortable presenting
- Experience working on AAA projects with large teams in creative or design roles (mechanics designer, boss battles, economy and quests design, level design, and UX/UI)
- Experience in planning large projects, understanding development roadmaps, and project stages from pre-production to supporting legacy projects
- Broad experience, encyclopedic knowledge of games, and understanding of the market in different genres and platforms
- Good understanding of the workings of a creative team in different areas (level design, combat design, economy balance for different genres, monetization, UX)
- Strong understanding of the dynamics of development in different genres and current design trends in AAA and indie industries
- Excellent communication skills with the team and understanding of roles and efforts to achieve results for creative tasks
- Understanding of multicultural communication differences, blending in assessments, and peculiarities of communication with specialists in related roles
- Good understanding of budgets, timelines, and game development pipelines
- Client-oriented approach even in creative matters, ability to propose one’s position without conflicts
