Senior Developer in Test (Java)\SDET - relocation to Poland (offline)

Project Description:
Our customer is a company located in London and has been managing risk for over 100 years. It is a part of bigger concern in the finance industry.
The company is serving major international exchanges and platforms, as well as a range of OTC markets. It clears a broad range of asset classes including: securities, exchange traded derivatives, energy, freight, interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, foreign exchange derivatives and euro and sterling denominated bonds and repos. The company works closely with market participants to identify and develop innovative clearing solutions.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a specialist in performance testing however upskilling might be considered as well.
This position especially might be interesting for QA Automation who would like to switch to developers or specialists who would like to start their carrier in performance testing.

Conscientious Testing Engineer (with Java knowledge) required to assist with
1. Expansion of existing Functional Regression toolset into Non-Functional Regression
2. Data transposition and migration from production environments to green field platforms
This is an Automation engineering role where applicant is expected with other team members to,
• Refactor and tune an existing functional regression tool to replace another vendors NFT product
• Identity NFT cases from existing vendors solution for incorporation into new solution
• Migrate NFT cases from existing vendor solution into new solution
• Support NFT tooling to ensure availability when needed
• Identify logical methods to transpose and migrate data from databases to a new platform
• Validate those methods using small data subsets to confirm design fit for purpose
• Implement validated methods in Java, SQL and Jenkins tools to industrialise migration activities
• Demonstrate data migration tooling to other programme participants
• Support data migration tooling to ensure availability when needed
• Iterate to incorporate changes so all Functional, Non-Functional and Migration tooling remains relevant
Mandatory Skills Description:
• 7+ years of experience in the Test area
• Experience with Java Core, Spring Framework (Boot, Data, MVC, Security)
• Experience with REST, JMS (IBM MQ)
• Proven knowledge of system monitoring solutions
• Good knowledge of PL/SQL

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Java application performance issues investigation and resolving
• Experience with Java multithreading
• Modeling of data structures, logical and physical design
• Experience in designing and developing Agile deployment strategies and pipelines (e.g. utilizing Jenkins, AWS Pipelines, or similar)
• Git tools — BitBucket, GitHub
• Hands-on experience with Maven (configure, build, optimize)
• Experience in technical design writing

Is a plus:
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with container technologies and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes (ideally in the context of AWS)
• Experience with shell scripting
• Experience with Oracle 11g embedded functions and procedures
• SQL performance analysis and optimization skills, performance tuning tools and techniques
• Jenkins
