IT Security Operator (offline)

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate in the global «Security Operations Center»
• Analyze, process and take actions on security incidents with the target eliminated risks and threats
• React on alerts from Microsft365 environment
• Monitor the systems connected to the Security Operation Center
• Process messages and alerts from Microsoft365 environment, SIEM and network analysis tools
• Analyze and solve 1st/2nd level security incidents and forward them to 3rd level support if required
• Initiate emergency processes if necessary and publish vulnerabilities or security warnings
• Report on incidents and vulnerabilities and communicate on their processing status
• Collaborate in group IT projects
• Support the Group Information Security Officer in data safety and data privacy topics (GDPR)

Professional Experience:

• Experience in identification, analyzing and handling of security incidents
• Experience in dealing with ticket systems based on ITIL
• A solid education in operating IT systems is required
• Good understanding of IT-Security requirements
• Advanced knowledge of network technologies would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft365/Azure AD portals/tools would be beneficial
• Knowledge in ISO27001 and/or GDPR would be an advantage
• Readiness for shift work

Technical Skills:

• Basic education: IT professional (or comparable education)
• Further education: Microsoft MCSE or MCSA; Cisco CCNA;
any IT security or information security certification
• English (B1 or higher)
• German would be an advantage
