Java, Senior Big Data Developer, OpenSearch Team for The cloud observability platform (offline)

The company is currently building the most advanced SaaS observability platform in the market, based on popular, cutting-edge, open-source technologies.
We’re looking for a highly motivated Senior Java Big Data Developer to join our fast-growing OpenSearch Team!
As a member of this team, you will design, develop and maintain Logz.io Core Technology and infrastructure handling massive scale and low latency challenges in our multi-cloud, multi-region platform.


Responsibilities

Design and develop high throughput, low-latency backend processes, and infrastructure in a highly scalable, multi-cloud platform;
Be an integral part of the team - embrace and contribute to the OpenSearch Team spirit, ownership, agenda, planning, and methodology.


Requirements

5+ years of experience in Java development with deep expertise in microservice frameworks, approaches, and patterns;
3+ years of Big Data experience, preferably with Elasticsearch (or OpenSearch);
Experience in maintaining production-grade Elasticsearch clusters;
Experience handling Big Data scale and latency challenges;
Experience with Docker & Kubernetes Good understanding and experience of development methodologies, processes, best practices, design patterns, and development tools;
Self motivated, quick learner, proactive and a true team player;
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a global company.

It would be amazing if you have prior experience with:
Kafka, GO, Kotlin, Prometheus, AWS, Azure;
Open Source & Open Source Contribution;
OpenTelemetry.
