Senior Android Engineer (offline)

HotSchedules is the industry standard for scheduling, time, and attendance, labor forecasting. The application is currently among the top productivity apps on the Play Market. Our new Engineer will work in a team of 2 Android devs, 2 iOS devs, and 2 QA to develop new features in sync with the Web app. The mobile team will collaborate closely with Web and backend teams to sync the efforts, resolve dependencies, and deliver end-to-end features.

Requirements:
- Able to design, plan and implement complex technical solutions/architectures
- Native Java and Kotlin experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android OS
- Proven knowledge of Android material design guidelines, and best practices for the platform
- Track record of working with remote data via REST - JSON and XML
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs in particular Dagger 2, Retrofit, GSON, RXJava 2
- Experience with Kotlin coroutines and Android Jetpack Architecture components
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Working knowledge of tools such as GIT, Jenkins, etc
- Strong knowledge of unit and instrumentation testing
- Strong English skills - both written and spoken
