About Projects
The first one:
The logistics company has been in business since 2009 and has been effectively bootstrapped until last year. The core product is logistics software primarily aimed at the last mile of the supply chain. The supply chain problems that COVID has created in the last couple of years have opened an opportunity to expand the offering into different points along the chain and really grow the business. The ports product we are hiring for now is a critical piece in tracking shipments as they move inland and we are looking to invest heavily in ramping this product up and dovetailing into adjacent points on the supply chain (rail, intermodal yards, cross-dock warehousing, etc.). Last year, for the first time we raised a round of venture capital to fuel these growth plans.

The second one:
Planz is a new swiping dating app that should solve the problem of the first contact with short video calls that make it easier to understand whether you have a fit with a person or not even before you go on a date or start chatting. Features that you’d need to build: video calls integration, matching algorithm, messaging, IAP, notifications, and many more. The team will consist of 4 people Mobile dev, Backend dev, PM, QA, and some team members from the client’s side.

What will you do:
Work as a part of a full-cycle team to build different products from scratch.
Maintain and build Python backend applications with PEP8 styles.
Architect REST backend application.
Dockerize projects and deploy them to the server.
Produce GraphQL scheme for mobile and frontend side.
Write Unit and Integration tests.
Collaborate with the mobile and frontend team.
Complete two-week sprints and participate in sprint retrospectives and daily standups
Assist with estimation for new features of the product.
Be a part of a community of Python/Django developers who share knowledge and help each other as problems arise.
Work with our QA and Project Management teams to ensure quality in our builds and releases
Research and promote design patterns and practices that fit our technical challenges
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in a dynamic and remote work environment
