Your tasks:

At talentsconnect, we are on a mission to change how companies and candidates meet each other.

We are growing and have big goals. To meet these goals, we need a Product Owner and leader to help us take our data game to the next level.

You will lead our Transparency and Action squad. This squad focuses on optimization and solving recruiters' #1 pain point – not enough quality applications. The team owns the instrumentation and builds historical reporting dashboards, including owning and defining the data model, data collection, data pipelines, and the user experience. They provide transparency. But they are primarily responsible for ensuring the data we collect and present leads to meaningful improvements. The recruiter should always know their next best action and how to take that action.

All of our product owner positions are data people, especially this one. The teams consist of a mix of talent, including UI/UX, Development, Data Scientists, QA, and the Product Owner. In our model, the product owner and the squad lead are one.

Your profile:

You’re unique and we value that our product owners and leaders have such diverse experiences, so we don’t look for key qualifications, but your peers will have the following in common,

- At least 2 years, prior experience as product manager or product owner in a data-driven culture where data informs feature design and priority.
- Prior experience managing a high-performing technical team is preferred.
- A high-energy, self-starter attitude.
- Experience working with data-heavy products, and an understanding of the complications of having models in production and the needs of the data members on your team when building new models. In the Transparency and - Action team, we would value experience with NLP, recommendation, and/or prediction.
- A desire to work on a small, cross-functional team; you value collaborating on problems, asking questions, delivering feedback, and supporting the team in its goals.
- Ability to work in a remote, diverse environment. Exceptional communication skills in English (and maybe a bit of German) with the ability to translate technical concepts into easy to understand language.
