Senior Java Developer (offline) $5000-5800

Edvantis is looking for a Senior Java Developer to develop a project for our German client, a leading full-service provider of solutions for the public transportation industry. You’ll become part of the team which develops a back-end API for the ticket management system for the public transport sector.

Responsibilities:
Back-end development to meet customer’s business needs and implement components according to the modern software development environment
Offer good solutions for business problems
Working together with other team members on achieving common goal
Taking part in the decision-making process in solution development, architecture and code review

Requirements:
5+ years of development experience with Java
Strong knowledge of OOP, algorithms, data structures, design patterns
Good knowledge of current web development standards and frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Kafka; Quarkus would be a plus)
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and other relational databases
Understanding and experience in RESTful API’s design
Experience with distributed caching systems, microservices architecture
Experience with Unit testing
Experience with Git
English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher

Will be a plus:
Experience of Android mobile development
Web authentication mechanisms, JWT knowledge
React, Docker, Kubernetes, Swagger, AWS, Quarkus experience
