Senior Backend Specialist (offline)

Project description:
We are looking for a Backend Specialist for one of the company's most challenging projects.
It is a big greenfield project with modern hybrid microservice-based architecture and a lot of design freedom. This project is planned until 2024.
The analysis of the existing system for problem identification according to the design thinking approach as a basis for the iterative solution conception and the subsequent agile development has been completed.
The project is currently in the agile design and development phase. Functionalities are designed together with users in interactive remote workshops within the framework of evolutionary prototyping.
In parallel, the conception and creation of the IT solution architecture and the (data) backbone as well as the step-by-step technical implementation are taking place.

Your tasks:
You will take part in the development of a complex dispatching system using artificial intelligence.
This system will automate decision-making in emergency situations:
-determine risks;
-predict breakdowns;
-calculate delays;
-correct the schedule of dependent tracks, etc.

Your skills & qualifications:
Node.JS;
Typescript;
AWS;
Docker;
English: Upper-intermediate.

Additional project information:
The main team consists of Backend developers, Frontend developers, Data engineers, Data scientists.
On the project we use a lot of modern technologies:
Node.JS, Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, AWS(Lambda, Kubernetes, Athena, Neptune, S3), Docker, React, Python, etc.
