Gameplay Developer (World of Tanks) (offline)
What will you do?
- Take part in creating new game modes and working on the logic for the game server, the client app, and web-based services.
- Develop highly efficient (regarding memory and performance speed) in-game components.
- Deal with the physics of objects and put complex data processing algorithms into practice.
- Work with dozens of additional services and applications that make up the extensive infrastructure of the World of Tanks project (payment systems, authorization systems, analytical data warehouses, etc.)
Who are we looking for?
- Solid experience with Python or C++.
- Cares about quality of code, unit tests and documentation.
- Strong Object-Oriented Design and Analysis principles.
- Data structures, design patterns, and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience in application performance optimization and low-level debugging.
- Participation in the development of large projects.
- Knowledge of Windows and *nix systems.
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Experience in game development.
- Experience in at least one of modern game engines usage and/or game modding experience.
- Experience with Game AI systems/frameworks.
- Experience in multithreaded application development.
- Network optimization skills.
- Knowledge of computer network basics.
