The tasks the team would be responsible for are:

• Facilitate Taboola’s content through to Mobile platforms
• Build core services for the company’s mobile needs
• Scale with millions of users.
• Take part in develop highly scalable, highly performant solutions, which serve billions of recommendations per day
• Work closely with Product to reach an optimal technological solution
• Influence directly on the way billions of people discover the internet
• Work on projects such as: Content Feed, Video Recommendations, Breaking news notifications and much more

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in native Android development
• Proficient with Android Studio & Android SDK.
• Excellent understanding of Java.
• Strong understanding of the principles of OOP/OOD, and Design patterns.
• Strong debugging skills (including WebView debugging).
• Gradle knowledge.
• Caring for small details is in your nature.
• Very organized work.
• Good English is essential for communication.
• Working with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Up to date knowledge of recent Android OS features and restrictions.
• Team player, able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and an independent learner.

As an advantage:

• Experience in building, testing and publishing mobile libraries.
• Published applications on the Google Play Store.
• Understanding of how Android works under the hood.
• Javascript skill
• Kotlin experience
• Experience with Appium automation testing
