Required skills:

- 2+ years in HTML/CSS/JS/jQuery, knowledge of SASS and/or LESS, knowledge of PHP
- Strong experience with CMS WordPress
- Attention to details, a fan of pixel-perfect philosophy
- Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards
- Markup experience with Figma (or Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, Zeplin).
- Experience utilizing website optimization tools
- Intermediate level of English language proficiency
- Good team player with good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Material Design principles and responsive design
- Experience with Agile Scrum Methodology
- Experience with GIT
- Experience with SQL, custom SQL queries, directly working with the database in WordPress

Soft Skills: can-do attitude, adaptability, honesty, taking ownership in what you do, open mind, and friendliness

As a plus:
- Graduated with a degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- Familiarity with Shopify
- Familiarity with “headless” content management systems
- Deep experience with WordPress (ability to work with the database directly, deep understanding of WordPress)
- Experience with WooCommerce
- Experience with e-commerce platforms
- Experience with REST API in WordPress

Responsibilities:
- Creating website layout/user interfaces by using HTML/CSS/JS technologies with responsive and flexible UI
- Development of custom WordPress themes
- Working with other CMS
- Writing code using best practices
- Participating in the estimation process
- Cooperating with UI/UX designers to match visual design intent
- Responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling existing web assets
- Staying plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and applying them into day to day activities
- Mentoring and supporting team members
