Full Stack Developer (PHP, JavaScript) (offline)

Responsibilities:

● Design and build efficient, testable, and reusable web applications
● Solve performance problems and architectural challenges
● Recommend performance improvements; create and refine style guidelines for website content; select design tools, programming languages, or applications
● Improve and update existing websites and applications
● Remain up to date about current programming practices and web technologies through reading, continuing education opportunities, or participation in professional workshops, groups, or conferences
● Write and implement responsive CSS supported by all major browsers and devices
● Use JavaScript/AJAX and other FE libraries to achieve the requested functionality
● Participate in the full development lifecycle, including development, testing, and deployment
● Review and respond to operational issues, escalating as necessary
● Work with the rest of the web development team to implement strategic improvements
● Participate in code reviews and give feedback to other developers
● Quickly learn and adapt when dealing with unfamiliar systems and applications.
● Commit to meeting deadlines and complete work in a timely manner

Skills:

● Proficient in the following technologies: HTML5, JavaScript/jQuery, AJAX, CSS, Responsive Web Design
● Experience in PHP
● Experience working with Materialize, GULP, Fabric.js is a plus
● Experience working with OpenCart is a plus
● Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
● Ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues with a multitude of 3rd party integrations
● Demonstrated attention to detail
● Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively translate business requirements into actionable tickets
● Strong written and verbal communication skills, proven analytical and interpersonal skill
● Strong problem solving and analytical abilities, capable of learning new technologies quickly
● Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
● Must possess a strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and initiative

Example of projects:

● Clean and organize current front end code (remove unnecessary calls, improve performance, make code readable and testable)
● Encapsulate 2D mockup designer into a separate independent library, so it can be used in different application
● Create customer portal
