Strong Middle QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript) (offline)

Requirements:
3+ years of overall professional experience in Software Engineering
2+ years of experience in an Automation Quality Engineering role
Strong understanding of various QA methodologies and SDLC
Experience in writing autotests using JavaScript

Technical capabilities:
Hands-on experience in writing end-to-end tests using Playwright or Cypress, etc.
Familiarity with bug tracking, test management and documentation tools (Jira, TestRail, Confluence etc.)
Backend API testing experience and SQL knowledge
Experience with source control systems (preferable GIT)

Will be plus:
Setting up reporting for the automation runs with Allure or similar tools
Experience with BDD approach (Gherkin, Cucumber)
Experience with performance/security testing
Experience with Redis
Intermediate or higher level of English

Responsibilities:
Building test automation processes from scratch
Automation of existing manual regression runs by end-to-end tests
Working closely with manual testing team and developers to define automation strategy, control of passing and maintaining tests
Drawing up a training program, interviewing and mentoring junior test automation specialists

The project is a high-tech solution for monitoring and managing groups of devices (over 20,000 units) and Data Centers. The system provides real-time data collection from devices, live monitoring, mass device configuration, and employe’s task manager.

Team composition:
PM-1, BA-1, developers-5, QA-2, designer-1
