Full-stack JavaScript Developer (offline)

What You Will Do:

- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Translate business and technical requirements and UI mockups into fully functioning websites with a focus on back-end JavaScript applications as well as front-end JavaScript applications using various frameworks, API integrations, and services.
- Extending functionality of eCommerce websites using their APIs to integrate externally hosted applications and services
- Build data transformation, and connector middleware
- Closely collaborate with a cross-functional team (PM, BA, QA, as well as other developers). The team may be distributed across different time zones and even continents.
- Participate in full lifecycle software development process
- Review, estimate, and provide a critical approach to the assigned tasks – don’t be shy to point out gaps, mistakes or simply propose a better approach.

Your Knowledge and Skills:

- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- High level of autonomy and self-management skills
- Being able to multitask without significant loss of quality, to find, share and apply best industry practices
- Good knowledge and experience in working with multiple work processes \ methodologies. Be able to guide teammates through the most popular processes
- Excellent communication \ collaboration skills
- Past experience with Shopify or BigCommerce would be a major plus.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
- Strong understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
- Strong JavaScript skills: Vue.js, React.js, Node.js
- A solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as git
- An excellent ability to convert PSD/Sketch/Invision/Figma mockups into interactive digital experiences
- A passion for front-end architecture as well as a driven attitude towards learning new web technologies
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- A detail-oriented person with an eye for good UI/UX
- English – intermediate or higher (B1+ level)
- Team Leader will be expected to interact directly with clients during calls and status update meetings
- Strong critical thinking and self-guided troubleshooting \ problem-solving skills

Technologies and Tools:

- 3+ years of experience with Node.js framework;
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript with a proven track record of project work;
- Knowing modern frameworks like Vue or React would be a major plus;
- Solid experience with responsive HTML/CSS as well as with one of the CSS preprocessor (SCSS, LESS, etc)
- Full-stack development experience (REST APIs Backend, DB modeling, CI/CD, Deployment automation)
- API integrations
- Solid understanding of REST APIs
- Solid understanding of GraphQL
