Java Engineer Boeing (offline) $1000-4000

We are looking for a highly motivated Middle or Junior Java Engineer that has passion for working on development and delivery of innovative cloud-based enterprise and research prototype applications for our customer - The Boeing Company.

You’ll design and produce: flight simulators, systems that virtually preassemble planes and monitor quality in 3D, apps that track weather threats, and cybersecurity that blocks more than 1 million viruses annually. What you will be doing:
Work within project teams on iterative development that delivers high quality products
Conduct research and development and ensure successful deployment of emerging new technologies
Develop automated unit and integration test scripts
Develop effective, defect free, reusable source code that meets business requirements and team standards

Tech stack:
Our technology stack is based predominantly on Java 8 and MySQl on the backend, hosted in an internal cloud.
Currently our product engineering team has 9 people: BE Java, FE JavaScript, Devops, QA, IOS dev.
You will be part of a team developing software in an agile/continuous integration deployment environment.

What skills and experience do you need?
Fluency with at least Java 8
Knowledge of Spring
Experience in automated test environments / TDD is essential.
Experience in commercial back-end development
Strong understanding of relational databases
Familiarity with any cloud provider (AWS, Cloud Foundry, etc.)
Expertise in CI/CD, Docker
English: at least intermediate level or higher
Soft skills: self-management and good communication skills

Will be a +
Knowledge of Aviation domain
Agile (BDD with JUnit and Code repositories in Git – with feature branch based development CI/CD)
