Senior Android Engineer (offline)

ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Our client is a US company that operates as a financial lender of instalment loans for consumers to use at the point of sale to finance a purchase and helps people to get consumer credits in a transparent and friendly way. Engineering organization is focused on creating robust, modern micro-services applications implemented in Python and Kotlin.
Team develops a new addition to the current product and implement “crypto purchase” functionality from a scratch. The team is responsible for microservices on backend, web, and mobile apps for Android and iOS.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work in close contact with team members and project stakeholders on the client’s site.
Take an active role in architectural discussions
Incorporate new functionality into already exists user experience
Collaborating with the core mobile team to launch development patterns that enable easier cross-platform modifications in the future

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Strong knowledge of the Android ecosystem
4+ years’ experience in mobile development
At least 1 year experience with Kotlin
Experience in building reliable, high-available, distributed architectures
Strong troubleshooting experience
Upper-intermediate level of English

WOULD BE A PLUS:
Previous experience with crypto purchase providers integration
Understanding of Financial sector and Global Finance
