Project overview:
Our Customer is a Swiss-Swedish, operating mainly in robotics, power, heavy electrical equipment, and automation technology areas. They are implementing a project for Hitachi.
The project is aimed at organizing and optimizing internal IT infrastructure for Hitachi manufacturing division. The team will be working to help Hitachi achieve greater internal efficiencies by helping them to integrate solutions and get a more holistic strategy for information flow between their many internal systems.
Hitachi ultimately want to improve the end to end value chain and integration between all their systems.
You will be involved into the initial investigation phase as part of distributed (Sweden, Ukraine) architectural team and help with mapping out their business value stream, shape information models and integrate business applications that will support the models.
We provide you with the following exciting challenges:
• Analyzing existing IT architecture, IT solutions and applications, assessing their current state and optimal use
• Designing IT architecture in accordance with the business architecture, optimizing the portfolio of existing IT solutions and applications based on the business goals
• Defining enterprise data structure, describing logical and physical data structures
• Applying the concepts of software components integration, including microservice architecture
• Analysis, selection and evaluation of technical components of architecture
• After initial phase, cooperating with development teams and third parties on all technical aspects of the designed architecture
• Preparing architectural documentation and its further maintenance



We expect from you:
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or other related higher technical university degree
• At least 8 years of practical experience in the software development
• At least 3 years in Architect position
• Understanding the processes of business requirements gathering, business and system analysis, and further assessment and selection of proper IT solution or application
• Good knowledge of architecture/design patterns and styles, SOLID principles, software quality attributes
• Experience preparing architectural documentation, using UML, BPMN, C4 or similar
• Advanced knowledge of architectural styles (SOA, event-driven architecture)
• Experience in building distributed systems with hybrid infrastructure
• Deep understanding of pros and cons of different integration approaches and patterns
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• English: upper-intermediate / advanced

Would be a plus:
• Knowledge of corporate architecture management methodology, like ITIL/ITSM or TOGAF
• Experience developing IT solutions for manufacturing domain (including working with Dassault PLM solution)
• Knowledge of informational security and its implementation during software development
