Java Developer, Fintech Solution (offline)

About the vacancy

The client is a global fintech company with over several billion in revenue, providing technologies and tools for financial institutions worldwide. It has an appetite to disrupt the way participants of private equity market connect by launching a new investment management platform.

As a Java Developer, you will join the team responsible for the platform managing full investment lifecycle, build around DLT and cloud infrastructure. The team members are located in the USA (New York), Bulgaria Ukraine, Russia, so the main language for verbal/written communication is English. For better team cooperation, it is required to cross with the team in EST time zone for 3-4 hours. Also, it would be a plus if the candidate has experience in capital markets or even Private Equity.

Technical stack:

• Back-end: Spring Boot (Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Hibernate; AWS (EC2, SQS, S3); DB (MySQL/Aurora, DynamoDB, H2), Hyperledger

• Front-end: Angular 11

• Pipelines: CI\CD (Jenkins, Terraform), GitLab, Git, Maven, flyway.

• Quality control tools: JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock, JaCoCo

Responsibilities
- Work on new features development and application enhancements. Stability of the platform is the team effort, so some bug fixing will occur.
- Support developed code with unit and integration tests
- Participate in functionality designs
- Perform internal demos for the business users
- Peer code review
- Troubleshoot environment/networking/communicational/application issues

Must have
- Maturity, proactivity and energy to drive the development of the story you were assigned to.
- 3+ years of experience with Java-based applications, Spring
- Experience with microservice-oriented solutions
- Hands-on experience with Spring (MVC, boot, data, cloud, security), JPA/Hibernate
- Understanding and experience working with relational databases
- Experience designing and developing high availability REST web services
- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes / Jenkins
- Understanding of working with Maven, Git
- Spoken English
