Senior Java Engineer, Communication Services (offline)

About the vacancy

Our client is a global provider of testing, analytics, and security solutions for the telecommunications sector.

DataArt’s specialists are helping to develop an analytical solution that tracks transactions that determine the quality of customer experience with network service providers (QoE). From these transactions, key indicators are displayed, such as radio frequency performance, base signal speed, and service performance (VoLTE, SMS). All metrics are combined into the final QoE estimates, which are used to determine hot spots and help localize and solve service quality problems.

Must have
- Experience or desire to lead development in medium to large distributed teams
- 3+ years of web application development experience using Java 8+, Spring Frameworks
- Strong experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL)
- Experience working with Docker, K8s, Kafka
- Experience with Jetty or Tomcat
- Experience with Public Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Spoken English

Would be a plus
- Experience with (Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Boot.)
- Experience with MySql, MariaDB, Vertica, Redis, MongoDB
- Experience with Timeseries DBs (InfluxDB) and Graph DBs (neo4j)
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and principals
