Senior Experience (UX) Designer (offline)

Who we are looking for
This role is all about solving problems, it’s at the heart of what you do, wireframes are not your day to day, but just one output of your process, to explain to the client what their customers, employees and themselves need.

You will work along side leads, supporting them by owning your own projects and client facing responsibilities, and driving everything you work on be to the best it can be within any restraints (we all know every project has them).

A strong communicator that can base their rational in best practice and research not just their point of view. Work along side designers, product managers, developers and the business to find the right human centric solutions.

We also understand that people mature at different times and while experience is important in a senior role, it not all about the years, it’s about the range of experiences, right mindset, no egos and people first approach that we are looking for.

How you think, behave & what you’ve done
- Deep understanding of best practice UX approaches and how to apply them.
- Experience in problem-solving design which follows accessibility guidelines.
- A solid understanding and passion for detailed content and information design.
- A structured approach to understanding users and frame design decisions around research and findings not point of view.
- You’re passionate about sharing your knowledge and raising the bar for our experience design practice at Monstarlab.
- General Assembly or other foundation training in UX a bonus
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Arabic and other languages are a plus
- Experience in consulting and leading client conversations in a must
- Familiar with agile methods and terminology, and/or general software dev environments.

Some responsibility’s of the role
- Should be able to work with larger teams and be able to independently operate on projects to find the best solutions for the client.
- Must be able to work on supporting client partners on new business opportunities, this could be mainly with sales proposals
- Consulting with clients to understand their goals and explaining research results
- Conducting workshops or stake holder interviews
- Conducting usability testing as required
- Creating wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps and screen flows
- Developing personas and usage scenarios
- Supporting to create product prototypes
- Support the design and development teams to make sure the UX approach is followed into the the
design stages of any projects
- Analyzing user feedback and activity, and iterating to enhance the user experience
- Assisting with content development
- Conducting competitor and customer analysis
- Conducting UX audits and competitor research
