Senior UI\UX Designer for Analytic Management Software (offline)

Our Client provides the industry’s only active analytic catalog solution for data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and business users, enabling them to interact with their data and analytic code in a whole new way. Users dramatically accelerate the production and operationalization of analytics by reusing them rather than re-coding, empowering an organization to quickly capitalize on business opportunities and reduce business continuity risks from inconsistent analytics. Our Client’s products for individuals and teams/departments offer a unique combination of three capabilities: they track analytic provenance, actively record how analytics are built and changed. They enable analytic portability across users and applications with APIs. They provide governed protection of analytics and data by securing assets for authorized users. PROJECT DETAILS
Our software deeply integrates with and leverages some of the hottest components of the big data and analytics ecosystem such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, and Microsoft Synapse. We’re an upstart player in the emerging “Modern Data Stack” space. Our tech stack includes Java, TypeScript, Kubernetes ElasticSearch, Redis, and frameworks like Electron, React, Cypress among others. We have a mature and evolving system for DevOps using GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Nexus, Maven, and Junit. These integrate with our cloud infrastructure for build and test at AWS, Azure, and GCP.
YOUR TEAM
100% of the development is done by the team in our Kharkiv office. The team consists of 28 Java, JS, and QA Engineers. All developers are highly qualified, 70% of the team are Seniors.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead our web and desktop design system that’s used across our products
Define and implement best design practices
Occasionally participate in client interviews/discovery sessions
Work on multiple design projects simultaneously
Meet specific design deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Promote design thinking across the organization and participate in design thinking sessions
Work closely with product management, product engineering, and testing teams to design and review user flows/journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
Deliver specs and supporting assets to the development team
Iterate on existing application features to improve usability and drive key metrics
Contribute to an overall product vision
SKILLS
4+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer and/or visual design within the B2B / SaaS space, or 2 years plus education in UX, Digital Design, HCI, Human Factors, or a related field
Ability to prototype interactive and high-fidelity designs using Figma
Portfolio exhibiting the ability to conceptualize and demonstrate visual communication skills. Examples of process and design approaches are highly recommended
Mastery of design principles, user-centered design process, and design methodology as applied to enterprise software applications delivered via the web and desktop
An understanding of how UI frameworks such as React, HTML, CSS, and mobile-centric design patterns impact design decisions
Strong attention to detail and consistency in design
Curiosity and a desire for continuous learning
Demonstrated successful collaboration in a multidisciplinary team environment
Strong interpersonal skills and oral/written communication skills. A candidate is expected to participate in meetings and advocate for design as soon as onboarding is complete
Self-starter with excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects with shifting priorities
A background in visual design is a plus
