About the team
Kiev R&D team consists of several specialists that cover different disciplines including but not limited to general physics, optics, electronics, mathematics and programming. Team is focused on moving forward CPI sensor technology and recognition techniques dedicated to improve our products capabilities to be aligned with the cutting edge requirements for detection of machine readable features. Team is equipped with the nowadays instruments, measurement equipment and utilizes the latest computing technologies that makes it possible to build the sensor systems from scratch. The team welcomes new talented people interested in engineering and computer science and always open for new ideas and fresh look at the sensor development process.
We are looking for the candidate with
- Good knowledge and erudition in the following category of physics disciplines: optics and lighting engineering, electronics, mechanics, electromagnetic phenomena, thermal phenomena.
- Experience and knowledge of the metrology, instrumentation, techniques of physical measurements.
- Experience in simulation using Zemax OpticStudio or similar software packages.
- Experience in mechanical design using Solidworks or similar CAD system.
- Practical skill in experimental and signal data processing with MatLab.
- Experience in embedded systems, with emphasis on sensor technology, system control, image processing is appreciated.
- Intermediate level of English language.

Our candidate will be responsible for
- Participation in new bill/coin validator sensors technology for different sensors solutions and service subsystems of banknote and coin authentication and recycling systems.
- Create platform-independent subsystem representations, models and use cases, including the required documentation.
- Simulate, evaluate and test sensor designs, develop acquisition systems and signal pre-processing algorithms.
- Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve various optical, hardware problems.
