QA\QC Engineer (offline)

Responsibilities
● Ensure required testing and check-out is being done procedurally correct
● Develop functional and performance auto-tests, keep them up-to-date, analyze failures
● Participate in developing CI/CD processes
● Report and work with defects
● Execute both manual and automated testing
● Be familiar with Agile testing approach, working with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
● Document of testing logs and status reports
● Validate for compliance with various regulatory laws (HIPAA, GDPR) and security guidelines (OWASP)
● Be a part of the dynamic open-source observational research OHDSI community, participate in workshops, hackathons and collaborate to implement observational research solutions e.g. have a fun time developing cutting-edge solutions
● Technological stack: Java 8, FXML, Spring Framework 4/5 (Spring Data, DI, Integration, Test), Hibernate/JPA, JUnit, Mockito, Gradle, GitHub, Jira, Jenkins

Required Skills
● B.S. or M.S. degree in Information Technology or Computer Science — or equivalent experience in information technology and software development
● Experience with the Java + Selenium (Selenide) stack + RestAssured
● Experience with TestNG, Cucumber
● Good knowledge of JS frameworks (Cypress, TestCafe)
● Good knowledge of SQL, JQuery and XPath, Mockito
● Fluent in English

Desired Skills
● Knowledge of standards in relevant field or professional certificates such as ISO 9001
● Experience with OMOP CDM, OHDSI ATLAS, and other tools, methods and standards developed by OHDSI community
