Java BE Developer (offline)

The service aims to assist payment providers to avoid working with websites conducting illegal, non-regulative or fraud activities and by that to reduce costs, penalties, and reputation damages associated with it.

The team develops and maintains one of the 2 main modules providing clients a set of tools for processing and managing their data such as dashboard, profile, reporting, etc. The clients may use UI or integrate it within their own systems by using API

About the role:

Company is looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team. You will be working on our flagship product and will also contribute to the development of new future products that are based on our machine learning data infrastructure. You will be working with team members to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes.

Responsibilities:

-Design, develop and influence our flagship product.
-Collaborate with front end developers and other team members to design, implement and provide a performant, scalable, reliable and flexible solution.
-Work together with Product, Data analysts and Data Scientists to design and improve our product.
-Review code, architecture and data to identify and troubleshoot problems and areas for improvement and optimization.

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in Java backend development
Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL preferred) and SQL
Fluent in English
Hands on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS – An advantage
Experience with Big Data technologies such as NoSQL and queues – An advantage
Experience developing Groovy on Grails – A big Advantage
