Full Stack Web Developer (React / Ruby-on-Rails) (offline) to $6000

The Grandz company is engaged in web development for eCommerce. Our clients are retail companies from the USA and Great Britain. We take orders for outsourcing and out staff, starting from project initiation, right up to launch, and further support.

We are looking for a candidate for a fast-growing Dutch tech start-up. It is a platform where various brands can list and sell their products, at this stage, there are 90 active brands on the platform and more than 600 brands on the waiting list.

Main responsibilities:
• Developing our e-commerce storefront for web and mobile.
• Building our design system with reusable components.
• Setting up a robust and future-proof architecture.
• Discuss companywide choices with regards to the technology stack, architecture, infrastructure, and development processes.
• Translating designs into high-quality code.

Requirements:
• You completed a relevant Bachelor or Master
• You have 2+ years of experience as a Software Developer
• English Upper-Intermediate
• You have set up production-ready React frontend architectures with Redux or React Query
• You will work mainly with React and Ruby on Rails or have experience in C#, Python, Java.
• Extra experience with React Native and Typescript

Work with Ruby-on-Rails for backend, React for frontend, Ant Design as component library, GitHub Actions and Heroku. We’ve spent a lot of time on continuously improving our technology stack.
Test-driven development using tools like RSpec for backend unit and integration tests, Capybara for end-to-end tests and Jest with Enzyme for frontend tests.
