Lead Manual QA (offline)

Who We Are: we are a German company. On the market we have existed since 2010 and are represented in Hamburg, Kharkov and Rostov-on-Don but our employees work remotely from Ukraine, Russia, Germany and Azerbaijan.

What We Are Doing: We develop SaaS/IaaS platform for media, medical and financial clients. Platform’s goal is to simplify the processing of user data threads. There are several products for data integration and processing. Microservice architecture. The current product has been in development for 2,5 years. 60 people are involved. 30 backend microservices and 30 frontend microservices have been developed. We have mobile applications for iOS, Android. New directions related to mobile ATM and automation are under development. We are actively growing.

- Your Responsibilities:
- QA manual processes description from the scratch;
- Establish a strong manual QA team;
- Planning & estimation; task assignment, control, people motivation, coaching, and mentorship;
- Strong software testing knowledge, testing throughout the software life cycle, test design techniques, test management tools configuration and support;
- Complex mobile/web applications testing;
- API testing (Postman, Fiddler or Charles), SQL and NoSQL DBMS (MS SQL, My SQL, Mongo DB, PostgreSQL, RedisMQ), VCS (GIT, SVN).

Our Requirements:
- At least 1+ years of experience managing QA team;
- 4+ years of QA Engineer experience with interactive web-based testing like BrowserStack Live or AWS Device Farm;
- Experience in Web and Mobile (iOS, Android) application testing;
- Good understanding of Quality Assurance concepts and approaches;
- Experience in developing QA artifacts (Test Plan, Test Design, Traceability Matrix, User Scenarios, Test Cases, Checklists, QA Metrics);
- Experience with Test Design Techniques;
- Solid knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle;
- Solid experience using at least one bug tracking tool (preferably Jira);
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to learn quickly and willingness to continuously improve yourself;
- English level - intermediate and higher.

Would Be A Plus:
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with front end test automation (Selenium is especially welcomed)
- Experience with BDD/Keyword Driven automation frameworks (Robot Framework, Cucumber, etc.)
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Basic knowledge of any scripting language (Python is preferable)
- Basic knowledge of SQL
