Recall Masters Inc, a privately owned California corporation, looks for a Python developer to expand our team.
What we do. Producing automobiles is no easy task, and sometimes issues happen: cars are produced with defects. Such defects may cause safety problems. That's why manufacturers and government organizations monitor for defects and make efforts to fix them.
A defect that will be fixed for free at an authorized dealership is called a recall.
Recall Masters accumulates and analyzes recall information for cars in the US and in Canada. We provide recall information services for manufacturers, dealers, insurance companies and vehicle owners. We can determine whether a recall exists — and help fix it.
What you will do. Develop microservices based on given specifications and requirements, and integrate them with existing parts of our internal automation system. The said services will be mostly implemented as Lambda functions deployed with Terraform. Their job will be processing data, interacting with external vendors, and providing APIs for the front end.

Python Tools. mypy, wemake-python-styleguide, FastAPI, Pydantic, jinja2, Peewee ORM, boto3.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in Python software development
- AWS and Terraform experience a big plus
- VueJS a plus
- Upper intermediate written and spoken English required
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science is a plus
Conditions:
- Work in a small (3-5 devs) dedicated team
- Fully remote
- 40 working hours per week
- 15 minutes stand up meeting daily at 12:00 (midday) Moscow time
- Kanban
- 90 days of probation period on hourly pay and, upon successful completion of the said period — transfer to fixed monthly payment
