Quality Control Engineer (with Scrum Master role) (offline)

If you have strong commercial experience in one of the roles – Scrum Master, Requirement Manager, or Quality Control Engineer – working with English-speaking customers and want to develop your skills in all these directions, we have a great opportunity for you – join our engineering team and take part in developing outstanding SaaS and mobile software platforms for improving production efficiency of residential and commercial solar energy panels.

Primary Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze and clarify business requirements with the customer
- Effectively manage a product backlog, help the team understand its items
- Ensure the development team works effectively, follows the goals, scope of work, and schedule
- Help team members and stakeholders understand and implement Scrum practices
- Host Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-up, sprint planning, retrospective and review meetings)
- Take part in technical discussions of the team to understand how the products are built
- Validate that product requirements are implemented properly. Check the products for issues
- Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
- Identify any potential problems that users might encounter
- Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years experience on commercial projects with at least 5 team members
- Strong knowledge of Software Development and Testing Life Cycles
- Understanding of programming languages, tools, and software engineering practices
- Good understanding and commercial practice with Agile, Scrum, Kanban
- Proficient concept of QA practices, policies, and methodologies
- Expertise working with bug tracking tools such as JIRA
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated attitude and ability to work closely with developers in a fast-paced environment
- Upper-intermediate English level and effective business communication
