About the Position
Start date: ASAP
Location:: Remote based in Europe only
Contract: Full time permanent
In this position you will be one of the first people to join the Talent team, working closely with different teams at Synthesia to find, attract and nurture the best talent in Europe and the US/worldwide. In the last four months only, we’ve grown from 30 to 55 people and as we grow further, you’ll be in a unique position to connect and work closely with some very talented people across Synthesia, who are creating the future of synthetic media.
Finding our next coworker is incredibly exciting - our teams know what they’re looking for and are very focused on quality, so while we’re not hiring huge amounts of people at the moment, it can be challenging to find the right person for the role. You will be working on multiple positions at the same time, sourcing highly specialised engineering profiles, getting creative with the outreach and ensuring we maintain a great candidate experience throughout the talent lifecycle. Outside of recruitment for tech teams, you can also expect to spend time helping build other teams at Synthesia (sales, growth, support functions etc.).
At Synthesia, talent is something we constantly think about, so we'll expect you to take responsibility for building continuous pipelines for specific positions and fine tune your approach, be it in the way you approach candidates or how you assess them.
And this is just the beginning. We are an early stage startup, as we grow, there will be opportunities to explore other areas of the People (HR) function or grow your knowledge and specialise in talent.
This position is based from home.

Requirements
It’s all about the attitude. We don’t expect you to know everything but we do expect you’ll have an open mind and be willing to learn quickly. You’d be a great fit if you:
- Have 2-3 years of experience in recruitment/talent acquisition, either in an in house or agency environment, preferably in the tech space (but not a deal breaker);
- Are driven and ambitious with goals and personal targets you want to achieve;
- Are very organised with a strong attention to detail;
- Are enthusiastic about technology.
