Java Developer (offline)

Skelia is looking for a strong Senior Full Stack Java Developer for long-term and full-time employment at its service center in Lviv, Ukraine. Within a superb team in an international working environment, where you’ll be working for a leading player in transportation management software headquartered in Brussels and Vienna.
MISSION
You will code and test full-stack Java-based web application software based on an Agile methodology
Configure Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines
Provide Technical Support for the customer’s inquiries and technical problems resolution from the live application on occasions as the third level of support
Take part in migration a frontend from Struts to Angular
Take part in migration a frontend from EJB to Sprig framework
This involves the use of user stories, acceptance criteria, and other system engineering artefacts as part of an Agile team
Use sound software engineering and object-oriented principles to ensure that developed code is maintainable, efficient, reliable, understandable, secure and fault-tolerant
You will help guide the project and mentor the team on best practices, architectural patterns defined within the company
Help design software architecture for new systems or upgrades to existing systems using best-of-breed web-based technologies
Interface with software engineers, system engineers, quality assurance, and other products team members
REQUIREMENTS
4+ years Java applications (practice in Java 8, Java 11 as we are doing a migration to Java 11)
Experience with Java EE applications (all application currently is on JEE and using Weblogic as application server, but it will be migrated into Spring framework)
Experience with Spring boot as we are planning to do replacement of EJB
Background with Struts (will be migrated to Angular 9 or newer)
Experience in Angular 9
Experience with Git, Maven build scripts & Jenkins
Experience with Oracle RDBMS
High level of spoken and written English
Team player with good communication skills
